Raney Geotechnical, Inc. (RGI) is a full-service geotechnical engineering and construction observation and materials testing firm providing services throughout Northern California. RGI was founded in 1979 by John Raney, PE, GE. In August of 2023, Matt Moyneur, MS, PE, GE and David Hunn, MS, PE, GE joined the RGI team as managing partners. With over 40 years of combined experience in the industry, Matt and Dave are committed to building upon the success of RGI as the go-to geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing and inspection consulting firm.
